5/31 - We're Home

We were able to come on Friday night even though the doctors really wanted us to stay another night. They weren't doing anything for Leo at the hospital other than just monitoring him and with all of the equipment and training that we have at home, we felt it was best to get him home and be together as a family.

At home of the past two days he has been doing well with the exception that he has been really sleepy. We were told that with the seizures and the medication it could take a week or so before he is back to himself. Even when he is awake, he mostly just stares off into space and is just not himself. I really hope he gets back to himself soon, it is really hard to see him like this.
