5/13/16 - 2 years ago today

The craziness of our lives didn't allow much time to reflect back today so I'm writing this at 2:00 in the morning while pumping some milk for the E-man. 2 years ago today life was so uncertain. We were bringing Leo home from the hospital  and didn't have much confidence in ourselves or soon to be nurses. Now I can happily say we got this! Everyday brings new challenges but we figure it out. We are working on training a new Tues/Thur nurse who doesn't seem like the best fit due to her age/physical condition but she is hanging in there. Emmett is smiling, "talking" back and sleeping in 5 hour stretches! I'm back at work a few days a week and feel blessed that they have been so flexible with me. Sammie is a little firecracker just enjoying life....examples...last night she was at the carnival until 9:00 riding rides that scared me and tonight she looked so cute at her 2nd dance recital. Our hearts and house are full with recital goers and our walls and shelves are empty as Terry has worked tirelessly to pack us up for the big move in 13 days. Mom is holding down the fort as always and we are so happy she had finally booked a real vacation to Ireland. Most importantly, Leo has been a happy and healthy little guy. Tonight he joined Dad and Nana at the races and Sunday he is planning to go to his 1st tball game. I'm never quite sure how, but we are getting it all done with smiles on our faces! We couldn't do it without all the love and support from family and friends.
