Some good things:
1. Last weekend Leo left the house for literally the first time to go somewhere besides the doctors. Thanks for hosting us Ory's! Leo did great and said he will be back again.
2. We saw a vision therapist for the first time this week. She had a bag of tricks and Leo loved them. We are all in agreement he tracked a shiny pompon up and down for her. She described him as visually aware and thinks she can really help! She will likely be coming to our house once a week.
3. Leo did great in physical/speech therapy this week! He normally cries through it . He has been doing his passy Muir valve for 45 min per day for almost two weeks now. He makes really sweet noises when he is on it. They were really impressed that he can tolerate it.
4. We are looking forward to becoming God Parents to a very special little man on Sunday. The Ory's are Leo's God Parents and we will be Beckett's. The baptism has been delayed for a year now waiting for Leo to arrive and be stable at home.
Disappointments:
1. I came home at 1:00 on Wednesday excited for our vision therapy only to find our day nurse sleeping in Leo's chair while he was hanging out on the floor. She did not wake up when I walked in or took a picture. She did at least wake up when I set off Leo 's alarm. The agency is being great about the incident. We will see what happens next...... It's just so disappointing. I really want to share my pic but won't....,
2. Leo is biting his tongue again. It's still not as bad as the first time but it's not good.
3. He is on medicated drops for another eye infection.
