Life with Leo: 7/26 - just checking in

Last Sunday things calmed down for us. Our day nurse ended up not showing up....typical but Mom helped out...also typical, Nana Kathy stopped in for a visit and Terry made it home. My friend Theresa was super helpful and drove me to a Peoria to get my Mom's car that was stranded there when she came to get us on Saturday night. We were all back together again in one piece Sunday night! Our week was pretty uneventful :).

1. Our day nurse was dozing off again on Monday. I can't believe she was even choose to cuddle up in Leo's chair and run the risk of falling asleep after I caught her the week before. It's not like she was holding Leo! We are working with our agency to fix this situation...stay tuned.

2. Leo us getting a new helmet next Friday. His current one is too small and rubbing pressure spots on his head. Hopefully we can do this for real this time because little man's head is super flat!

3. We are continuing to do lots if therapy and seeing the most improvement in vision. Lots of up and down tracking.

4. Still biting his tongue...we need to figure this out!

5. Sammie had a paid non family/friend babysitter for the 1st time on Friday... That says a lot about how awesome our family and friends are!!!! ...that said our neighbor girl is awesome and Sammie cried when she left and wants to know when she will be back :).

6. Terry and I escaped to my works annual golf outing. It was lots if fun to be together and see friends! I even got to go out afterwards. :)
