9/11/14 - 10 Months!

Bad news first....our Tuesday/Thursday day nurse quit yesterday with no notice after calling in Tuesday. I was frustrated and sent her a direct text. She said she got an office job that would be less stressful and she had been looking since before coming to work for us. She said her doctor said she needed a low stress job for health reasons. Frustrating we spent 4 days train in her so she could work here for 5 days...ugh. 

If you know anyone looking for a 2 day a week position lye me know! I do have a lead on a new nurse so hopefully we won't miss too many weeks of work!

How about some good news?

Leo is going on 2 months since his last illness...we know it could change any minute but we are celebration for now! 

This week we went for our 3 month check up with his Pulmonologist. They upped the Passy Muir Vakve to 8 hours straight. The next step is weaning the vent at night! They were impressed with his weight gain almost up to 18lbs and on a normal growth curve. He is still tongue biting and headed to the dentist in Chicago on Thursday.

Aunt Percy and Uncle Gus came to visit on Sunday. Leo generally prefers not to be held but he made himself comfy w/ Percy :)

Sammie started big girl dance/tumbling class this week. She is loving it!

Terry is headed to NASCAR this weekend so prayers Leo stays healthy so he can enjoy!
