Our house caught a bug. It started Wednesday. Leo was having respiratory issues and high heart rate. We called the doc and they said put him on the vent. We did and despite his cough and snotty nose we did okay! Sammie was also showing cold symptoms. Things got interesting Friday. Sammie said her tummy hurt and she wanted to cuddle on the couch... Ooh I'm in sounds more fun than dishes or suctioning snotty Leo. Wrong choice! A 1/2 an hour later Sammie lifted her head off my chest, burped....then puked spaghetti all over me....omg gross! It was Sammie's payback for not puking in her 1st 3 years of life. We had a long night of Leo needing oxygen and Sammie having several accidents requiring 2 baths. Saturday we were headed in the right direction. Leo still on the vent, Sammie still not eating but overall looking better. Sunday more of the same, but we were sad because we were supposed to hang out in Peotone With my brother Shea who was in town from Vegas. We canceled since Sammie was a puker and Leo had seen better days. That brings me to Monday morning. Leo had high heart rate all night and was working real hard to breath even on Oxygen by morning. Of course his Pulmonologist is out this week so the next choice is the ER. We are sitting here now in Peoria hoping we will get to go home. He is doing better since we arrived needing less oxygen and not working as hard to breath. I think we will get to go home without spending the night!

My brother Shea came to visit us Tuesdsy night. It was great to see him. First time he saw Leo at home :)
Sammie and I made cookies Sunday when she started feeling better!
