5/11 - Happy 6 months!

Leo is still going strong and on track to go home Tuesday. Friday we got all the equipment and supplies delivered. It was a little overwhelming at first, but after it was put away his room still felt like home. I forgot to take pictures, but will get some when we are home. We were supposed to meet 2 nurses at our house on Friday. One failed to show up but the other one seemed great. Unfortunetly she is only available to work every other Saturday night, but that is a hard shift to fill so we are happy to have her! The nurse who didn't show was just an extra day nurse so we can get along without her. Our full-time day nurse stopped by the hospital on Thursday and she seemed good. Hopefully she liked us too and wants to stick around!

The MRI results are in. We got to read the radiologist report but we won't see the nueroligist until June to get a full understanding of the scan. As far as we can tell and from what the resident said the scan just gave a clearer picture if what we already knew. So for now we don't have anything to report.

Friday our good friends from Colorado, The Bill's, were in town and we had a great time with all our friends in Heyworth! Sammie even stayed up until midnight...ssshhh don't tell grandma! The Bill's even visited Mr. Leo! So special!

For Mother's Day Sammie and Terry drove me up to the hospital for what is hopefully the last time! I'm planning to stay with Leo until we ride home together in the ambulance on Tuesday! It was surreal leaving the house knowing the next time I come home we should have the whole family together! 

The kids want to give an extra special Mother's Day shout out to Grandma Helen for being our rock for the last 6 months! Couldn't have done if without her! We love all our Grandma's!!
