Not much has really changed since Kate's update yesterday. Leo continued to have some breathing challenges today so they bumped up his air supply and that has seemed to help. So far, he has not had any more destats since they made that change.
Tomorrow (Wednesday) is an eventful day here at the hospital. We have requested a meeting with all three specialists; the neonatolgist, surgeon, and neurologist. We have been receiving inconsistent messages from each so we decided to pull them all together to get on the same page and develop an action plan together for Leo. We will also discuss the MRI report with the team of doctors. In addition to this meeting, we are also meeting a new doctor tomorrow who specializes in child development.
I expect tomorrow to be a long day filled with tons of information. Fortunately, Kate and I will both be able to stay at the hospital all day together for all of the conversations. It may take Kate and I some time to process everything so we may not post a blog entry tomorrow.
