11/15 (Friday) - Starting To Wake Up

Friday was another day of making baby steps towards getting the vent out.  They continued to wean him off medicine and breathing support.  We were thinking Saturday morning he would probably get the vent out. Friday was the first night I got to go home and see Sammie since we arrived on Sunday.  I miss her so much, but Grandma Helen is taking such great care of her she doesn't seem to know anything has changed.  This is Leo making his pirate face.  He likes to open one eye and check things out before opening the other.
